OAK DEATH RESEARCH SITE
CALIFORNIA

This is the 500 acre research site where Bioscape has and is still conducting studies.  We have found up to 80% mortality in this zone. The soils are severely depleted in calcium and phosphorous, and even if phosphorous was available the trees are unable to absorb it due to death of mycorrhizae.  Mycorrhizae are directly responsible for the absorption of phosphorous which is critical to tree survival.
